This “force fit” turn lock is designed to install without screws in the base piece. The top and bottom clamp firmly together by tapping them into place with a rubber mallet (protect the hardware from scratches with a piece of (faux) leather).

Make sure there is enough padding between layers so the space is fully filled. The turn piece is attached with prongs and a back plate.
